Cherry-Singh Attorneys Inc. was established in 2013 and has a Level 1 B-BEEE certification.
We are a female, black owned firm which works to empower and uplift other black women in the legal field. The team, led by Lynette Cherry-Singh, is committed to providing our clients – businesses, families and private individuals – with outstanding legal advice and practical solutions that help you to achieve your goals.

Our Team

Lynette Cherry-Singh

Lynette served as a Senior Associate in the Real Estate Practice at Webber Wentzel, before which, she served as the resident conveyancer at Daly Maqubela Oliphant Inc.

She was also a formidable litigation attorney at Moodie and Robertson Attorneys after being admitted into practice as an Attorney of the High Court in 2002. She set up Cherry-Singh in 2013 and provides outstanding leadership to the team with a passionate and committed approach. Her vast and unconventional experience allows her to navigate complex legal areas and achieve exceptional outcomes for clients.

Lynette is also admitted into practice as a Conveyancer, Notary and Solicitor of England and Wales.

Jeanique Naicker

Jeanique achieved her Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree in 2005.

She started work as a Claims Handler at the Road Accident Fund before pursuing her articles at Anthony Rome Attorneys. She has extensive experience in personal injury claims, insurance disputes, general litigation as well as family law.

Jeanique’s background and litigation capability makes her a vital part of the team.

Jeanique is a food enthusiast and an avid cook spending hours experimenting with different ingredients, tastes and textures. Her passion for food originated in the kitchen of her family home. She has aspirations to compete in the next Masterchef.

Sethabile Luvuno

Sethabile is a candidate attorney, currently serving her articles of clerkship and working towards her admission as an Attorney.

Sethabile has experience in family law and focuses on all aspects of litigation. When she’s not seamlessly tackling legal matters, Sethabile spends her spare time volunteering for the less fortunate and running a feeding scheme at a school in Soweto for children in need.

Sethabile also enjoys playing Netball and doing outdoor activities such as hiking. Her most recent outdoor activity was zip-lining over Crocodiles and facing one of her greatest phobias by attending a Snake show. Bungee Jumping has yet to be conquered.

Jadian Naicker

Jadian is our Office Manager who joined us in 2015.

He makes sure our business runs smoothly and is essential in ensuring we are organized, efficient and effective at all times. Jadian is responsible for our Finance and IT functions as well as supporting our conveyancing work.

His contribution is invaluable in supporting all members of the team.

Jadian is a father of two and makes every effort to spend time with his family. His faith as a Christian is fundamental to him as he offers his time as a youth leader and an audio-visual operator at his church. He is passionate about giving back to the community by participating in various outreach and volunteering programmes.
